I am so incredibly honored and excited to announce that some photos I took have been published on Style Me Pretty Illinois. Style Me Pretty is one of the biggest wedding blogs in the US, and arguably in the world, so my excitement of my first time submission getting accepted for featuring was only compounded by who is publishing it. For years, people have been telling me I should submit my work to blogs, and for years I have doubted that I could be someone who’s featured amongst some of my idols. I love even more that the wedding I chose for my first submission was one at which I was not the official photographer the whole day. While my excitement will run high for a while because this is my first time being published for wedding photos, it’s also a strangely humbling feeling to know that my work is being juxtaposed with some of the best photographers’ in the industry. It makes me look forward to continuing to grow as a photographer, and who knows, maybe more publications in the future!
